START UP MEETING SCHEDULED SUNDAY 10/19/2008

Dear Grand Forks Area Racers: 

    In an effort to build an organization dedicated to supply the Grand Forks area with Organized R/C Racing, we are banding together to form a non-profit club. This new club will pool resources in a group effort to put a facility in Grand Forks area that can host organized racing. All funds generated by this club will go toward building and maintaining a new Off Road Racetrack. 

    This Sunday 10/19/2008 meeting will at the Grand Forks Happy Joe's on South Washington will start at 2:00PM. At this meeting, the founding members will put the first funds of their annual dues into the club account. The details of who will hold official positions in this new club will be announced. Anyone that would like to become a member of this new club is urged to attend. Those that wish will be able to sign up for membership and pay their entry dues. Once officially a member of the club, you will be allowed access to private club discussion areas of the Club Forum Sections and be invited to all club functions. Once we get up our new site, all club members will get special rates on all racing activities and events. 

    KRC Products will not be financially involved nor seek to hold any official position in this new club, but I Kevin Altepeter and my son Grayson will participate as regular members. We will maintain web services for the club and help in any way we can. This public section of our web site and also a Private Members-Only section of the KRC Products Forum will service the new club as long as the club wishes. KRC Products will offer our race management services and systems at races and events. Whether the club uses our services or decides to utilize their own will be up to the club members.

As a nonmember of the KRC Products Forum, you can view public club discussions and announcements in this section: GRAND FORKS AND FARGO AREA RACING but cannot post to the topics unless you decide to become a registered member and can log in. Membership in the KRC Products Forum is free. Once you are both a registered member of the KRC Products Forum and a member of The Grand Cities R/C Racing Club in good standing, we will add you to the Club Members Group and the private club members only sections will appear to you when logged in. You would then be able to view private club discussions and post your own comments.
